Belgian - Antwerp-based - prestigious watch brand RESSENCE organised a photo shoot to promote their high-tech waches with a model sitting in the CROISSANT lounge chair by Danish furniture designer Illum Wikkelso (1919-1999). GUBI collection.  The photos were taken in a private residence of an Ambertree customer, and we were able to catch some "the making of pictures...."  

"Built on the expertise of yesterday, crafted with today's technology, our watches are designed for tomorrow" says the RESSENCE website. The parallel with Wikkeslo's CROISSANT collection is obvious.  Created in the 50s, the Croissant lounge chair is a characterful, sculptural lounge chair midway between a "club chair" and a "Chesterfield".  Classic and at the same time contemporary timeless.
