Pastoe x Design Nation
DESIGN NATION 2026 in Kortrijk has come to an end. Thank you for visiting the PASTOE stand. We were pleased with the turnout and are grateful for the enthusiasm for "the new Pastoe": collection of Dutch design iconics
At the fair, Pastoe showcased a selection from the renewed collection, including Rietveld's iconic SWAN armchair (1958), the reissue of the WIRE Series by Cees Braakman, and the LANDSCAPE sideboard by Joost van der Vecht. Timeless designs that bring together Pastoe's focus on craftsmanship, innovative design, and Dutch heritage.
Lecture by Titus Darley on Gerrit Rietveld
This two-day event also offered an excellent networking opportunity. On Friday 16 October at 16:00, Titus Darley, Director of Pastoe/Gelderland, gave an engaging lecture on his extensive chair collection and, in particular, on the furniture of Gerrit Rietveld, the most famous architect of the Netherlands. Following the PressRoom Chair, PASTOE has now brought Rietveld’s ZWAAN / SWAN back into production.
