Iconic timeless CH25
In a Paris flat, a realization by Marie-Astrid, we find Hans J Wegner's austere yet robust CH56/58 bar chairs (1985 creation) and the iconic timeless CH25 lounge chair that incorporates more than 400 meters of hand-woven paper cord. The timeless CH25 was designed by Hans J Wegner in 1950, and has been in production at Carl Hansen & Son - without interruption - ever since. As such, this model is one of the "Wegner Masterpieces"
Carl Hansen & Son "sculptural" Egyptian Chair
In the pictures of the dressing room, you can see the "sculptural" Egyptian Chair, a 1957 creation by Danish modernist Ole Wanscher. And in the bathroom the Bookcases, a 1963 creation by Fabricius & Kastholm....
When Ole Wanscher became fascinated in various chairs from the pyramids, among others, during his many travels in Egypt, he designed the elegant and lightweight "OW2000 Egyptian folding stool" in 1958. Made in solid oak with "seat" in saddle leather. Wanscher most famous design is the sophisticated Colonial Chair (1959) and Colonial Sofa (1964)
